About Project
ArtXhibition is an online RIA (Rich Internet Application) platform that introduces Anime and Art to the communities.
Through the website, Anime lovers can gather to check out the latest Anime recommendations, find out details on Anime
characters, try guessing the Anime characters, and check out the posters related to Anime. It also aimed to help
newbies to discover about anime, including where to find anime events, cosplay stores and other recommended sites.
AnimeXhibition integrates Jikan.moe API that utiilizes MyAnimeList (MAL), a well-known anime website's database
to display the data. The site was built by four groupmates, including myself, using Tooplate template and hosted on GitHub for convenient version control.

Throughout the project, I contributed in:

Initial project setup on GitHub:
- Setup the project repository.
- Research on how to host a website on GitHub and its limitations.
- Guide my teammates on GitHub features.
- Re-program the Tooplate template to fit the project's scope.
- Reconstruct the navigation bar to assist better workflow between the team.
- Research on the available open API to integrates in the website and shares with teammates.

Landing Page/Homepage:
- Design and program the homepage contents.
- Introduces Anime, ACG, and three main ACG event organizers in Malaysia.

Anime Character Page:
- Integrates Jikan.moe API to display the anime characters from MAL database.
- Code search bar with AJAX to allow user to search anime character.
- Code a function to show the anime character details once user click on a character.
